Balens original clientele in 1950 - 1990 came from the Entertainment Profession & Industry. We covered Musicians, Actors, Writers, Venues, Night clubs, Recording Studios, and much more.

David's Father was a professional Musician for many years before starting the business and David and Josh Balen are both professional Musicians. The picture on the right shows David Balen sitting on the stage with Quintessence at Glastonbury 1971 playing the Indian Tablas. David used to sit with the original Quintessence and recorded on their third album. He has played in a variety of cross cultural and jazz environments both on record and in concert since then. He has been recording an album of his own material in his own recording studio and currently plays in a Jazz Group called Interplay. Josh Balen has played with the Johnny Cash Tribute Band and then joined the Roving Crows who play Irish folk/rock. Joe Balen has always preferred to remain an amateur playing Blues electric guitar. 

We therefore retain an interest and involvement in this sector and can deal with insurance enquiries large or small.
