policy is a uniquely designed "hybrid" policy
incorporating the advantages of a Claims Made and Claims
Occurring wording without their disadvantages! We are
very flexible and can respond quickly to changed circumstances
and needs. As well as all types of Osteopathy, we can include over
3000 different therapies and techniques within the one policy,
many at no additional premium!
Balens specialist insurance packages are designed by our
Managing Director David Balen, who has 40 years experience in the
insurance industry. We have always regarded our claims
service (including an out of hours helpline in event of
emergencies), our advice, top quality cover and personal
service as our main strengths. These alone can save time
and money in the long term. Our collective buying power ensures
that you get the best value for money and a unique cover
opportunity in this very specialised and limited
marketplace.
The premium is £220 for an indemnity
limit of £6,000,000 or £235 for an indemnity limit of
£10,000,000. We offer a No Claims Bonus feature where you will
receive a discount each year of 5% off the Malpractice part of the
premium for up to 3 years. We also include a Personal Accident
lump sum pay out policy of up to £25,000. The indemnity
limit for the policy is £6,000,000/£10,000,000, however,
unlike many other policies on the market, it is an unlimited
number of claims at 6M/10M in the year and unlimited
defence costs in addition! If you stop the policy for any
reason, we give you unlimited Run-off cover free of charge to
ensure that if a claim was made after stopping the policy for work
done in the policy period, you will be covered. We also offer
a Direct Debit facility to spread your premium over 10 months with
no interest to pay on top along with many other
features.
Newly Graduated Osteopaths will receive a
25% discount for the first year policy.
