We designed one of the first Private Health Policies to include Complementary Medicine in 1990.

We value our independence! Balens are probably the only specialist composite broker in this area of business who have not been taken over by anyone else in their long history. We are a 3rd and 4th Generation Brokerage! We are not owned by any other organisation, overtly or covertly. Nor are we attached to, or part of any membership organisation.

Our ethos, philosophy and founding principles are uncoloured by financial or political agendas and we try to be impartial at all times. We also maintain absolute confidentiality in our dealings with our different affinity groups and clients so that they may have no fear of important information or loose rumour being transmitted.
